Here, we focus on getting back to our gamer — that little kid who could get lost in the wonder of a video game. Because that’s what it’s all about, guys; enjoying our favorite hobby and never getting too old to lose our passion for it.
Many people are curious, so I can go ahead and tell you that I served eight years in the U.S. Army as a 46Q — or public affairs journalist. So, naturally, a lot of the experience I gained in that field has spilled over into this channel. Even though I’m not in the military anymore, I still go by Sergeant Merrell on Xbox Live because it just felt natural. I’m still an NCO at heart, and a lot of those values have stayed with me.
