ODG Coop Night

Last Wednesday we had 6 people show up for cooperative ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead. A couple of people have requested that we do it again. Ironically enough, both requests were from Great Britain. Sgt Dred has toyed around with an idea and a graphic for ODG Thursday Night coop night. I think it’s a cool idea. As long as there are people interested, I’d be honored to be the one hosting a coop server. Hope to see you guys tonight in the ODG channel. It was a very busy day for me, I hope I didn’t post this too late in the day. We're shooting for 7pm EST.

Also, we're working on allowing more than 4 players into Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 (now only $9.99 on Steam) and Brink will be coming out soon which allows up to 8 players. So coop night doesn't mean we're restricted to ARMA 2. There's also been talk of adding Left 4 Dead 2 into the mix.

PS: When the British DLC comes out for ARMA 2 OA, I"m buying it!

Thanks for the clarity on LAN definition. I have sent another image with red text. I would be interested to see what others have done or what they are thinking.

I did the image in gimp and in layers so easy to change the text.

I'll be buying it too! - I wonder if they have the farting soldiers like in the 90s' game Wargasm by DiD.

7pm EST is a little early so I might have to join while you're in progress unfortunately since I cant get home from work and roll right onto some gaming without getting a hot kiwi injection from HouseHold Command.

I will however endeavor to be on point since I havent had any time to play since last weeks session and Im VERY motivated to play.

Sounds good Rigger. Thus another huge advantage of playing ARMA 2 over Flashpoint Dragon Rising. I'm referring to the drop in drop out abilities. Our friend Barry would have to sit the missions out when he'd drop for a second in Flashpoint. ARMA will allow a reconnect attempt after the first session officially drops...

Me too Dred. I'm happy to see people are interested. It makes it more fun and more interesting to play. We had 6 people in the server and a 7th who purchased the game on the spot while listening to the fun we were having trying to get into the C130. Hopefully Rant can join us next week for a total of 7!

Hey Witz, even if you don't have the game feel free to drop in the teamspeak and listen in. I think you'd enjoy it.

We're all still in the learning phase of the game, meaning there's people trying to master the choppers and planes and various aspects of the game. So there's a lot of crashing and explosions going on and it's hillarious as we laugh at one another and watch the epic fails. LOL
