Is anyone even playing this anymore?

I sure hope so... Finally bought the game and looking for people to play with who are all about team play. I spend way too many rounds manually targeting with the SOFLAM and apparently not a single person has a Javelin?!

My guys (and girl) were playing the hell out of it before we had to pack up our xboxes to get ready to redeploy. Give it a couple of weeks for my guys to get back to Bragg and get cable again and you'll have a company full of BF3 players.

Yes, but not as frequently. Maybe once a week or so. There are some MapPack or downloadable additions to BF3 scheduled through this year so I'll be playing more after I PCS to Louisiana and set up house again.
I hate moving! Just a few more years till retirement!

G8tor, if you're going to Polk I've got some buddies there. Only so many EOD techs after all, sooner or later you tend to get to know them all. Let me know if you need somebody to show you around or anything.

PCS'ing from Louisiana myself in two weeks... heading to Buffalo NY, GeoBach. Able to retire not sure if I'm ready though, a tour as a by myself might make up my mind for me. Not a xboxer myself but been having fun on PC. I'll be looking for folks as the DLC comes online.

Thanks, appreciate it. I'll be at Barksdale AFB which is north of Ft Polk.
I did bare base training with the JRTC at Polk some years ago. Best training I ever had-- "we don't simulate, we replicate" which is much better than the watered down readiness training in the AF.

Here is a link to info on the upcoming DLCs for BF3 w/some trailers:

Close Quarters is scheduled for next month. I'm looking forward to the next one, Armored Kill, later in the Fall.

Chewinfoil, going from LA to Buffalo, NY? I enjoy the change in seasons but better get a 4WD or front-wheel drive vehicle for the winter snowfalls.
