Took it back.
Since the patch I lock up every other game (confirmed by Homefront Forums). And I wasn't too happy with having to start over either. I was level 29 and went to look at the leaderboards. The leaderboards still said I was level 7, the game paused with a message stating I was disconnected from the PSNetwork; I reconnected and was level 7. Looks like a Sync Bug, confirmed by the Homefront Forums also.
For those who still play. The game is real simple in non-party play. Spawn camping and Sniper hunting give you mucho points. The Super 7 is the deadliest weapon because you also sprint faster (and sprint is unlimited) with it (I used a suppressor for more fun behind the lines). Grave Robber + Penny Pincher for your base is super OP (over-powered). Flash bangs are handy but EMP followed by Frag grenades are deadly to any ground vehicle. Hunting Humvees give you 1000BP with a two grenade kill (vehicle kills give 1000+ BP). Save up your BP for the Buzzard and/or Apache and game over. Most player spend their points at transitions to give the advantage to their team. White Phosphorus is handy but no return on investment as are most other BP expenditures, except fro the RPG but only if you know you can get the kill on the vehicle.
Long story short, the Single player couldn't hold my attention to get past the 2nd part of the story. The Unreal Engine is becoming one of my most unfavorable platforms for a game. As the graphics take on a dull glean and the lighting filters are just unnaturally off. To add, with the lock ups (even in campaign), stat reset and party mechanics being jacked up I didn't have the patience in me, so I took it back. Crysis 2 comes out Tuesday and it'll do for a bit.
