No problem and that sounds like you have quite the treasure there. Im always happy to pass on the link to the documentary to others who may be interested. History is something that should be shared is what I do believe.

    Hi .Heavy,

Having seen your bio and that your step father was a veteran from the Korean war figured this documentary might be relevant to your interests if you have not already obtained a copy. Even more so since it has to do with the location he was at.

Be warned though the trailer is pretty heavy stuff.

    Military Bio
No military service. The closest I could say was hauling out of Depots in the North towards ports in the South coast of the USA in the early 90's for Korea for about 6 months. It was kept quiet at the time and fortunately nothing happened other than change of leadership.

However am dedicating this space to my Step Pa who was Officer in the USMC during Korea as part of 5th Division, 3rd Battalion and Fox Company at a place called Chosin Reservoir. He was mined by the enemy while leading a patrol. He lost a number of men out of 40. They shipped him home on a Hospital Ship.

He is instrumental in making arrangements for me to recieve an education in the early to late 60's At the time the system demanded I become institutionalized as a ward of the state with no freedom or learning.

Always Faithful in Life and I took on much of the Values he kept from the Corps.

Thanks to all who have served, are serving and keeping us safe here at home.
