Hi guys. Im Sammy and Im new to these forums. While I have no Military background (Cant serve) my Father is a Vet. He won the Lottery in 1970 (draft lottery that is) and served his tour in Germany. Got lucky and didnt have to be in the bush at Nam. I am an avid Military History Reader and gun nut. Im from Alabama and play on PC and PS3 online and xbox 360 with single player. Im looking forward to getting to know everyone here and playing online with or even against you guys! LOL.

Welcome to the site!
I think I should add gamer tag info to user profiles in the forum... what do you think?

Yes! That is why you are in charge around here. :thumbup1:
Hello and welcome! Arkansas here. Not too far from you Neighbor. Thank your Father for his Service, draft or not. Anyone who puts on a Uniform is good in my book. My Spouse's Father was a Machine Gunner in a Heavy Weapons company in Korea (Army) and according to the imagery left behind by the Estate, he has had a hell of a run.
I don't know why the Military insists on giving stripes and very heavy weapons to carry to my family over the years LOL. My Granddaddy in WW1 had to mind a few machine gun teams where it took several men to carry a entire weapon and more for ammo.
Rigger as far as Gamer Tags are concerned, my EA Profile is gathering variations of Heavy as each game and each beta is being released, the retail release of MOH will likely require a re-invention of my gamer tag because of all the older tags already in use (By me).
Yer the Boss, you get to do whatever you think best of ODG.
Agreed on the History. There is much to learn and enjoy in History. It's too bad we had so many students show no interest in just how a fight got resolved or how a Nation decided to rise and fall on a decision hundreds or thousands of years. Those who dont learn it are doomed to repeat it IMHO.

Welcome aboard! I'm originally from Montgomery AL, and now live near Rigger, so it's kinda like being punished twice for the same thing.
