Rumor Mill: Microsoft doing away with MS Points

Unconfirmed at this point by Microsoft, but a number of outlets are reporting that the points will go away by the end of the year.

A lot of things floating about, I've also heard the newest Xbox will have some sort of integration with Windows 8, some folks have pulled the preview code apart and came up with lines that lend credence.

yeah, i think they want to make windows 8 like iOS. where it's compatible with their PCs, xbox, and windows phone. should be interesting
