Well, there is just nothing else to say…
Last week a video made the rounds featuring a small project that Coffee Stain Studios was playing around with as a joke, called Goat Simulator. That can be found here:
The response was amazing, the video went viral and Coffee Stain was bombarded with requests for Goat Simulator to be released as a full title. Coffee Stain relented, and now the game is scheduled to be released on Steam, with a pre order campaign now. A beta test is expected, but no announcement as to when that will take place.
Coffee Stain has released this disclaimer:
“Goat Simulator is a small, broken and stupid game. It was made in a couple of weeks so don’t expect a game in the size and scope of GTA with goats. In fact, you’re better off not expecting anything at all actually. To be completely honest, it would be best if you’d spend your $10 on a hula hoop, a pile of bricks, or maybe a real-life goat.”
I can’t help it, I already pre-ordered the damn game with full intentions of reviewing it, hell I might even stream gameplay.
If you want to pre-order Goat Simulator, head on over to their page, Goat-Simulator.com.
Now, someone explain to me just why in the hell I feel compelled to share this…
