Off Duty Gamers is always a little bit more excited than most to see where military-based video game makers fall in terms of the details. While many point out that it really has no impact on the game or your enjoyment level, for the military minded, these details show us a level of respect to the source material and the care taken to understand what they are trying to portray. DICE is back again and we are getting our first look at Battlefield 4 so enjoy our analysis as we’ve done in the past. The team has come together to point out the details in the 17 minute long “Fishing in Baku” video for Battlefield 4

Our Final Assessment:

As usual, the devil is in the details and DICE has obviously been doing a lot of homework. Ultimately we feel things are looking great. The graininess, lighting and of course Frostbite destruction looks even better than the Battlefield 3 materials.

Aside from some service/rank confusion between name and uniform, we find this to be a solidly detailed trailer with a lot of concentration on the military elements.
