Tactical Tuesday is here once again, so join us and our friends from FPS Nation for an evening of fun and competition. These events are a chance for all of us to get together, unwind, and talk a little trash.
What is Tactical Tuesday?
Tactical Tuesday is a gathering of PC players from Off Duty Gamers and FPS Nation (and our friends/fans) where FPS Nation is graciously hosting us, via their Battlefield 3 server, to generally have fun and cause a little online mayhem.
These events are generally held every two weeks, and run in tandem with similar gatherings between FPS Nation and various online communities.
FPS Nation DEAL of The Day
FPS Nation members select one “Player of the Session” based on performance, teamwork and sportsmanship. Those selected receive a prize, pre-determined by the FPS Nation admins. Past prizes have included signed copies of books, customized patches, game download codes and many others.
What will tonight’s prize be? You have to be there to find out. Winners will be notified directly through email, member’s messaging services, or online social networks. If you need to, please ensure all of your contact information is correct, and up to date.
Who can join?
We will be holding Tactical Tuesday on Battlefield 3 for the PC, owning Close Quarters/Premium is a suggestion, as some of the maps require it. For those few souls with Teamspeak, we’ve got a server where you can hear our witty banter and you can feel free to ask us questions about the site, the military, our gaming preference, or why we have a guy named lunch_meat on the team and what the hell that means.
The Rules
- PTFO (Play the F’in Objective) We promote coordinated team play not John Rambo clones.
- Know that if you cheat/hack or generally make yourself a team liability, you will earn a Blue Falcon.
- Have fun, that’s what games are for. We want to meet new people and coordinate like a team.
- Spread the word (not so much a rule as a really good idea to help raise awareness).
- Be prepared for a good time.
- Of course, always be respectful of our hosts, and fellow players.

These sessions are usually short but intensely good fun, and typically run about 2 or 3 hours depending on participation. The server holds up to 64 players! We hold Tactical Tuesday every two weeks, so if you can’t make it this time around, be sure to join in next time!
